Puppy Socialisation Classes (Free!)
These classes provide a valuable opportunity for puppies to start to socialise with other dogs and new people in a safe and controlled environment. This can be the first step towards an ongoing structured socialisation programme. Our trained Veterinary Nurses will talk about general puppy care. They will be able to answer any queries that you may have and demonstrate some basic handling and health checks.

Between the ages of 6 and 14 weeks it is best to expose your puppy to all the “normal” sights and sounds of general life – for example, other dogs, household appliances, road noise, wind, strangers etc. If your dog accepts all these things as normal at an early age, then you will have less trouble in later life. With an emphasis on fun, we’ll make the vets a happy place for you and your puppy to visit.

Who Can Attend?
To be eligible for the puppy party, you must be registered with Severn Edge Vets and have booked your puppy's vaccinations with us.  As part of our puppy vaccination course, we include an invitation to these classes. (*subject to availability).  We ask that you wait at least one week after your puppy’s FIRST injection, in order to minimise the risk of disease. Puppies can attend before he or she is sixteen weeks of age or fourteen weeks for large/giant breed dogs.
