Endoscopy

Endoscopes are small flexible cameras that we are able to carefully insert into various parts of the body that we would not normally be able to examine. These can include the nose, oesophagus, airways, stomach and the large intestine.
This is a very non-invasive way for our vets to be able to investigate problems in these types of areas. In certain circumstances we can use the endoscopes to take biopsies, swabs or even remove foreign bodies.
