Closure of Church Stretton Veterinary Practice

On 8th September 2021, we will be merging our Church Stretton practice with our Craven Arms practice, and the Church Stretton practice will permanently close.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

What this means for our clients

We confirm that client accounts with pets’ clinical histories are held within a secure database at our Craven Arms practice.  This enables us to continue to give care to your pets, without interruptions or delay.

Craven Arms is just 7-8 miles away and offers better parking, better client facilities, a separate cat waiting area and recently refurbished premises with more clinical services available. We are also proud to share that we have a certificate holder in Diagnostic Imaging. We hope to offer a fortnightly mobile home visit service in Church Stretton for our clients that will find it difficult to travel. More details on this service will be available in due course.

Our Much Wenlock practice is also available. The clinical team there is led by our Clinical Director Robert Hamilton.  They offer laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures and have specialisms in Orthopaedics, Feline Medicine and Surgery. Our vets will travel between practices where appropriate to share their specialisms.

Healthy Pet Club

Membership of The Healthy Pet Club will automatically transfer to our Craven Arms branch together with details of clients’ accounts.  Clients can continue to enjoy their usual discounts and savings.
Please note, there will be a change in the Healthy Pet Club reference number which will show as different on bank statements for the monthly direct debit.  For any concerns regarding membership please contact hpc@cvsvets.com.

If you have any concerns about the health or welfare of your pet, the move to Craven Arms, or you would like to arrange a pre-booked appointment for your pet, please call us on 01588 673534.

Out of Hours details

If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, our phones will divert to our 24 hour hospital in Bridgnorth.

Please call to book an appointment before attending the practice. This includes for the collection of flea and worming treatment, other medication and food.
